Snow Rollers

A rare thing happened in the Belleville area yesterday.
These are called Snow Rollers. They occur when the snow conditions and temperature conditions allow a strong wind to lift up the top layer of snow and actually roll it up like a roll of sod. There are fields near the house full of them. This one is almost 10 inches in diameter and 12 inches long and hollow in the middle. You will see trails in the snow behind them like an invisible child has rolled the snow to make a snowball.

Last Cottage Weekend

The cottage...one of the only places in this world where I feel closer to God than I normally would. Maybe it's because I have spent time there since I was born. Maybe
because it is so peaceful and quiet there. I have been enjoying a new song this weekend that is about this same subject of knowing God's presence.

Here is the chorus:

I know You’re there
I know You see me

You’re the air I breathe
You are the ground beneath me
I know You’re there
I know You hear me

I can find You anywhere

My new favourite restaurant

I found this restaurant online before our trip to Alabama.
It has the best ribs I have ever had.
We ate at both locations in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Mount Cheaha

This is the highest point in Alabama, Mount Cheaha.
Brady and Andrew enjoying the view.

Tennessee Aquarium

The Tennesse Aquarium in Chattanooga was amazing.
We had a blast.

Hello from Alabama !

Greetings from Oxford Alabama.
We had a great drive down here. Other than re-arranging our hotels due to a few that were uninhabitable. We stayed an extra night in Chattanooga Tennessee. We had an awesome time going to the aquarium, eating ribs at "Sticky Fingers", touring up Lookout mountain, and checking out the rest of a really interesting city. The weather has been great. It has only rained when we were not driving. Today we are going on a hike up Cheaha mountian. I hopefully will post some pictures soon.
